昨日、お父さんがあたしにある日本の楽器（ギター主）経営者へのビジネス招待状を書かせた。まずいなぁ。あたし、ビジネス用の日本語は全然うまくないのに、そんなことを任せたのはいやだ。やばい。
『できない！できるはずがない。ビジネス日本語は分からん！』って言ったけど、
『お前、一級を合格してきただろう！できないはずがない！言い訳をするんな！さっさとやれ！』ってお母さんに言われた。
死ぬほど難しいな、ビジネスレベルの日本語。敬語とか、謙譲語とか、大学で勉強したけど、もう全て忘れた。そう思えば、大学で『ビジネス日本語』と言うコースの成績はまずかった。だって、友たちとの日常会話でそんなものはあまり使われないでしょう。使う機会がないなら、段々忘れてしまった。どうしよう。今のあたしは日本語で日常会話さえできないのに、そんな難しいものはきっと書けないと思う。誰か、助けてください。＞。＜

先週は自分の移民の面接のため、アメリカに行ってた。なんというか、あたしの想像したアメリカは事実と大違い。カナダより貧乏みたい。白人たちはめっちゃ親切だったけど、黒人たちは怖かった。アメリカ・ドリームはいったいなんだろう。アメリカ人はいったい何を求めているんだろう。分からん。

最近は履歴書を更新した、日本語で。うちの親は『今の中国はいっぱい日本の企業があるんで、お前にとっては就職のチャンスが多いんだ！』って言った。だから、日本語の履歴書を。親の気持ちは優しいね。親のために、精一杯頑張って行こうと思ってる。

『singles』は中学と高校の時一番好きだったバンドさんのsuedeのコレクション・アルバム。バンドの解散はもう５年が経つ。ＣＤを手に入ったはもう４年。いまさらこのＣＤを聞いて、ちょっと懐かしいと感じる、中学の生活。
今、思い出したら、中学の二年生で初めてsuedeさんの曲を聴いた。名前は『saturday night』と言う。音が耳に入ったあとすぐ彼らの音楽を気に入った。あの時、suedeとthe verveはイギリスのbrit-popバンドの『希望』と言われた。でも、あたしにとって、彼らの音楽はポップじゃないが、ロックでも言えないと思う。特別な世界観を持って、リズムは時々激しかったけど、重くなかった。ボーカルの声は退廃的で、細くて、そしてキーも高い。家でＣＤを聞いたとき、親にも聞かせた。でも、親はすごく驚いた。『何それ。オカマが歌ってるの。おかしい。うるさい。止めとけ！』ってあたしに言った。
『何でそんなのをすきなの』って聞かれた。
『いいんじゃない。外国と香港では結構流行ってるよ。』
『よくない。アイドルはいいけど、バンドをやってるやつは絶対おかしい。』
うちの親はかわいい。もし、日本のビジュアル系を見せたら、歌を聞かせたら、絶対また驚く。ちょっと面白くなりそう。あたし、心地悪いなぁ。（笑）
